BHARATA NATYAM DANCER

Sahana has performed widely as a solo performer and received critical acclaim for the same. She has given solo performances for AID (Duke Chapter, USA), ATW 2012, Sai Nrityotsav, Ananya Bengalooru; Epicenter, Gurgaon; Gayatri Fine Arts; Sahitya Kala Parishad; Chinmaya Mission; India International Centre; DRDO; Pracheen Kala Kendra (Chandigarh) and at the Ministry of Foreign affairs in Japan, among others. She has also conducted dance workshops and was selected to be the lead dancer for the Bharata Natyam segment in the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, 2010, held at Delhi.

Sahana is a student of Delhi University, pursuing a Masters Degree in Mathematics from Lady Sri Ram College. She has been awarded the Anupama Dua scholarship for academic excellence and the University endowment scholarship for her masters.
