With her innate grace, assurance and striking personality she has very successfully carved a niche for herself in the world of kathak.Born in a family of sanskara, sahitya and sanskriti, Pratishtha is a grand daughter of India's national awarded educationist, social reformer, freedom fighter and vedic thinker Pandit Bishambar Singh and the younger daughter of globally known yoga guru 'PADMA SHRI' BHARAT BHUSHAN JI , the first ever Padma Shri recipient in the field of yoga.
Pratishtha, through her performance at various Prestigious dance festivals through out the world has carved special place for herself among the upcoming performers of kathak danceApart from dancing, Pratishtha is a 'Prabhakar' with 1st devision in Tabla and an 'A' grade Theatre artist. She has done key roles in famous plays, 'Sabse Udas Kavita', 'Chief Minister', 'Adhe adhure', 'Sunehere sapney', 'Ashad ka ek din' and ' Maha Nirvan' and has been associated with theatre groups as 'Adacar Group' and 'IPTA'Pratishtha has keen interest in literature hence she did her B.A. hons.(English) from Delhi University.
