ANJANA RAJAN is a disciple of Rukmini Devi Arundale and a product of Kalakshetra, Madras, India.

She has performed Bharata Natyam in various cities of India and other countries as a soloist and ensemble member. Since childhood she has also been associated with theatre and acted under the direction of her father, playwright-director Lalit Mohan Thapalyal.

She is also a prolific writer and works as Principal Correspondent with The Hindu, a national daily.
