Choreographer; Bharata Natyam and Mohiniattam Performer; Writer

Shruthi is a freelance choreographer, performer and writer by profession. She is the senior disciple of Guru Sreedevi Unni and Guru Ashok Kumar and has been learning Bharatanatyam and mohiniattam since 10 years. She has passed her senior dance examination conducted by the Karnataka secondary board.

Known for her strong character role play and choreographic skills, Shruthi has played the prinicipal character in many ballets choreographed by her Gurus and assisted them in choreographing compositions and, is a senior artist in the Natyanjali and Monisha arts ensemble. She is a certified performer for India's national television, Doordarshan.

Her experience includes training people of various academic institutions through dance workshops and projects, and has trained students for Kannada cultural department, Bhairavi trust and Natyanjali School. She also has trained people of corporate sectors.

Shruthi also writes articles related to dance. She is an active trustee member of Bhairavi Arts trust that aims to exhibit Indian culture and art forms. Shruthi has graduated from contemporary and mixed media arts diploma of the internationally acclaimed Attakalari centre for movement arts in 2010. She is also being trained in Kalaripyuttu and Carnatic music.
